Now is the time to thank the thousands of viewers, chief among them are the soldiers who had taken part in the battle and who have expressed their warmest appreciation for the film and its preceding research.
Rafi Mokady's actions during the 1967 battle portray the essence of The Spirit of the IDF. Unfortunately, not all of Rafi's comrades followed the same code of conduct.
The Value of Comradeship has been pivotal in the development of this story since 1967 and to this day. This Value has been subject to a variety of points of view, some of which raise harsh questions.

The Mokady Award, named after Rafi Mokady, will be given to an outstanding PhD thesis on December 1. The ceremony will be held at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa.

The Story of Rafi Mokady – broadcast on Good Morning Israel, Galei Tzahal – Israel Army Radio:
This morning, on the 44th Anniversary of the Six Day War, we bring the story of the daughter and granddaughter of Major Rafi Mokady, Commander of the Reconnaissance Company of Brigade 8, who fell in the war. His family wanted to make a commemorative film in Rafi's honor but during the production they discovered that Rafi had not been killed like they had since been told, but rather died after being left behind, in the battlefield, for eight days.
